Western Cape Provincial Leader

Tertuis Simmers

Tertuis Simmers leads the DA in the Western Cape and serves as the province's Minister of Infrastructure. Active in politics for more than 20 years, he delivered over 35 790 housing opportunities as Provincial Minister of Human Settlements (2019–2022) — and his roots are right here in the Garden Route, where he served as MAYCO member and Speaker of the Garden Route District Municipality.
